Our Teams
Since 2017, Simon Says Dance Competition Teams have been competing in dance competitions throughout Central Scotland. Developed to allow aspiring dancers to push themselves and gain valuable performing experience, we have had huge success from the competitions we've participated in to date.
Our teams are formed through invite only based on class work/performance each week. Teachers are constantly keeping an eye on all students in their regular classes to see who is ready for the competition world when a space in a team comes up.
Commercial/Hip Hop Teams
We have a range of Hip Hop Teams, including Empire, Checkmate, Reload, Supersonic, Strike, The 411.

Continued Success
From the multiple competitions we've attended from Edinburgh to Glasgow and everywhere in between, Simon Says Dance Competition Teams have walked away with numerous awards and trophies for their efforts. Trophies and awards include multiple 1st prizes for our solo, duo and team entries and more recently, Simon Says Dance was awarded the 'Overall Sportsmanship Award', which we were very proud to receive!
Although proud to sport an impressive collection of trophies on display at our studios, we're big believers in the saying 'it's about taking part'. We ensure this ethos is widely promoted throughout our Competition Teams and at Simon Says Dance in general.
