Our Spring Term has now been set up and we include details of this below.
Existing students have been auto-enrolled and reserved a space in the new term in line with our T&Cs. If you need to make any changes or cancellations to your child’s new term booking(s), contact us by 19th December noting our 14-day notice period. Only a staff member can make amendments to class bookings.
*Note that office hours are reduced between 21st Dec and 4th January, and there may be a delay in email replies during that time

Paying class fees
For anyone new, class fees are payable after a trial (if continuing a class). For existing students who are auto-enrolled, payment secures your new term booking and we kindly ask that either full payment or first payment is made by 19th December 2025 to secure your child’s new term space. The total due on your booking confirmation email includes any credits or discounts due.
You can pay Cash, Bank Transfer (details below) or via the ClassForKids booking portal. For cash payments, these can be made the first week back to term but please let us know by email if you intend to pay this method so we can hold the space for you.
Our Spring term is the longest term of the year. You can split your term fees into two payments if wanted. For the upcoming term, we would kindly ask that you make your first payment by 19th December 2025 to secure your booking, and second payment by 1st February 2026. If you intend to split your new term fees, note you can only do so by paying in cash or via bank transfer, as our online booking system can’t take part-payments.
If splitting your term fees, please email us by 19th December to let us know, or to discuss alternate payments/dates, as this will ensure your child's space is not cancelled unnecessarily if we don’t receive a payment when expected.

We request payment for classes / notice of cancellations in advance of the term start date to allow us to plan and firm our class provisions for the entire term. It also allows us to determine who is joining us, and what spaces we can offer to those on our waiting lists. This is why it's important to tell us in advance if your child isn't returning, and why we must make charges if late notice is received.
On that note, a 14-day cancellation policy applies for auto-enrolment bookings – any classes due to take place within your notice period are billable, so please contact us ASAP to avoid this. Note that we do not issue refunds for bookings cancelled mid-term.
Previous term fees must also be up to date to secure your child's new term space. Late fees apply and we reserve the right to cancel a student's space in our classes, without notice, if payments remain outstanding and no communication is received. By attending our offerings, you accept our full T&Cs viewable on our website.

general reminders
Uniform: Please ensure your child comes to class in the correct class wear - follow our uniform guidelines after your child's trial class. For SSD branded items, these can be purchased online for click & collect at next class.
Longstone Studio Dancers (after school): A reminder that dropping off or collecting outside the Longstone studio gates is prohibited for safety and access reasons, and the Chinese Supermarket car park is for their customers only. There are active parking wardens operating and some have already received tickets. Please park nearby and walk to the venue and ensure this message is passed on to anyone who drops off/collects on your behalf.

🎅 Week commencing 15th December, all children/students are welcome to come to class in Christmas PJs - but please ensure your child can dance in whatever they are wearing and that they have a layer on top in case it's chilly 🎅
Our Junior Show weekend is confirmed for 21st & 22nd March 2026 and this event applies to students who do a 40min or 60min class with us (with exception of Toddler & P1-7 Acro classes) - details have been sent to applicable families via email, and registration is required ASAP to confirm your child's participation.
We have a general Save the Dates webpage which details other notable events in the year ahead, for reference. Please place any applicable dates in your diary now - details of any events will be sent out in due course.
Did you know at SSD we offer multi-style discounts if your child picks up another style with us? 2 styles = 5% off, 3 styles = 10% off and 4 styles or more = 15% off all booked classes. We offer sibling discounts and refer-a-friend discounts too! The start of a new term is the perfect time to try a new style or pick up a back-to-back class. View our timetable, here.

Simon's running another term of his fun, exercise-based adult dance class on Wednesdays 8:35-9:20pm at SSDHQ Longstone. A great way to get moving, keep fit and enjoy some great tunes - no experience necessary, but expect to work up a sweat! Starting from 7th January 2026. Book here.
